Microsoft Lumia Mobile Phones
Back in 2011 Nokia created a brand name for a phone that was called Lumia. On September 3 in 2013, Microsoft bought out the Nokia brand and re-branded the Lumia into the Microsoft Lumia phones. Since then the phones have been running the Windows Phone operating system and have grabbed a considerable market share in the smartphone mobile market.
The first phones that were published under the Microsoft Lumia brand were:
Microsoft Lumia 535
Microsoft Lumia 435
Microsoft Lumia 532
Microsoft Lumia 640
Microsoft Lumia 640 XL
Microsoft Lumia 430
Microsoft Lumia 540
All of the above-mentioned phones ran on Windows Phone 8.1, and most of them had the dual sim capability.
After this, the windows phones got a new operating system update to Windows 10.
The first phones that were published under the operating system of Windows 10 mobile were the Lumia 550,950 and 950XL. Since then there have been tons of phones that came from this line and every generation has been more successful than the last. The latest phone that is getting released is the Lumia 650.
The phones have had a considerable market share grab, but the phones have suffered from the low accessibility to mobile applications, unlike the Apple App ITunes store and the android google play store. The lack of provided apps and support have deterred many users from buying these phones for fear of the phones getting discontinued in production.
For this reason, alone Windows has integrated many functions of the phone to have the same capabilities as the Windows tablets and the desktop computers. In truth, the app store was lacking in diversity but what apps they had, performed flawlessly and were diverse enough for the average user and his needs.
The strongest phone in the Lumia line when considering its specifications is the Microsoft Lumia 950 which has an amazing 20-megapixel rear camera and an impressive 5-megapixel front camera. The phone also has 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of ram memory making it one of the stronger phones on the current mobile market.
